Which means only ONE month left until we graduate and I am finally home with my family and friends. I can't believe that these past two years have flown by as quickly as they have. Two years just came and went and I now almost have my master's degree in my hand. I think everyone I know is in complete shock and so excited that I am finally done and ready to move onto the next phase of my life. Which means it's time to start packing, find a job, pass my national boards and start the process of moving back to Washington where my heart and my home are....I am hoping and praying that I can find a job in either an orthopedic setting or in a high school teaching sports medicine and being the head athletic trainer. I have a few good leads just have to wait and see what happens once I pass my boards and just go from there. Which is the nerve racking part. I take boards the 11th (so a week from today) and we won't find out until the VERY end of the month possibly the first week in May. It's just horrible that we have to sit and way so long....I am just not good at waiting games, as most of you know hahaha.
This last week has been a very hard one for me and my family. On Sunday, my uncle Mike died very suddenly of a stroke back home. It was a complete shock to our entire family and the grieving process is very hard being so far away from home. Unfortunately, with how suddenly it happened I don't know that a service will be put together by this weekend and next week I am unable to go home due to my boards and Relay for Life. So I will most likely be missing whatever service they have for my Uncle which just kills me. His was an amazing man and it's a huge loss for our family. He will be missed each and every day....
